Cirencester Art Society is a vibrant community of artists and art enthusiasts based in the heart of the Cotswolds. Welcoming both beginners and seasoned artists, the Society offers a rich programme of weekly painting sessions, monthly demonstrations by professional artists, and opportunities to exhibit work locally.

Our Society is guided by a passionate team of volunteers who bring creativity, organisation, and heart to everything we do. From planning inspiring demonstrations to coordinating exhibitions and weekly sessions, they ensure our community thrives. Led by our Chairperson Mike, alongside a small team of dedicated individuals, each member brings their unique artistic flair and dedication to supporting local talent. Whether you're a seasoned artist or just starting out, you'll find a friendly face ready to welcome you.

What does it cost?

Annual Membership
£30 per year
Membership is required to exhibit artwork, attend the Tuesday Painters Group, and access member rates for events.

Monthly Demonstrations
£2 for members
£5 for non-members
Held on the first Tuesday of each month, except August, with guest artists offering live demonstrations and talks.

Saturday Workshops
Individually priced
Led by visiting artists, these full-day sessions run from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Fees vary depending on the artist and materials required.

Tuesday Painters Group
£4 per session, payable quarterly
Exclusive to members, this weekly group offers informal painting sessions in a relaxed and supportive environment.
